What Is the Association?

The Stonegate Village Condominium Association consists of all unit owners of Stonegate Village.  The purpose of the Association is to serve the needs of its members with respect to community lifestyle, physical maintenance of the common elernent and the enhancement of property values.  The Master Deed and By-Laws are governing documents of the Association.  The Association elects a Board of Trustees to ensure that the commitments of the Master Deed and By Laws are met.

Community Associations are one of the most representative and responsive forms of democracy in America today.  Residents of the community freely elect neighbors to serve on the Board of Directors of the community.  Numerous other owners or residents serve on committees and help with special tasks as they arise.  Board members and committee members are volunteer leaders who meet regularly to discuss pertinent details about running their community.  A board meeting at a community association is comparable to a town council meeting of a municipality.
